The Olivia Rodham Memorial Library Invites You To Explore The World Beyond Your Doorstep

Our library offers a full range of services to meet the informational, educational, cultural, and recreational needs of our Nelson community. The Library is a vital and integral part of the community, providing the public with an accessible 21st century facility. The friendly and professional staff is eager to serve you. What do you need?

Our library provides you with books, DVDs, audio CDs, Large Print, audio-books and magazines for browsing and checkout, downloadable e-books and audiobooks, a range of Reference and Research databases, an extensive Children’s collection, public-use computers, and meeting rooms. If we don’t have what you are looking for, we can provide books and materials from libraries across the nation.

Document Services
The library offers document services including print, scan, copy and fax. Check at the main desk for prices and a brief description of each service. Our smiling staff will provide assistance!

Book & Media Drop
Should you have any items that you would like to return, there is a book drop located on the outside of the building between the library and the Town Hall and to the left of the Accessibility Ramp. It is large for DVDs, music CDs, some of the smaller audiobook CDs, and thank you notes to the Librarian.

Groups & Events
The library hosts several groups and events throughout the year. Here are just a few:

  • Monthly Book Group
  • Monthly Cookbook Group
  • Movie Night
  • Game Night

and more! Check the Calendar of Events for dates and times of our library events.
