1st Thursday Pot Luck Supper

On the first Thursday of every month Moving In Step hosts a community Pot Luck Supper. We all meet at around 6:30 in the evening in the Henry Melville Fellowship Hall of the Nelson Congregational Church. There's plenty of parking at the church or in the lot at the Town Common. We do ask that you not park on Log Cabin Road because it makes that road rather narrow for traffic to pass.

These Pot Luck Suppers are free and open to all residents of our community, young and old. Just bring a covered dish or dessert to share, your own plates, cups and cutlery.

After dinner and after everyone has caught up with all the neighborhood news, we often discuss current projects under way, and make and take suggestions for future projects and listen to the ideas that would benefit both of the towns.

These Pot Luck Suppers are short and, while we discuss a lot, everyone is always home by 9 pm at the latest. Our Pot Lucks are the garden where our ideas to strengthen the future of Nelson and Munsonville are planted and begin to grow.
